Brain-Body Coordination

Brain body co-ordination reflects the degree and speed of co-ordination between the nervous muscular systems, reflecting one’s efficiency. The brain is mainly made up of neurons. A nerve cell receives signals from other neurons or sensory organs, processes these signals, and sends signals to other neurons, muscles, bodily organs.

Nature Type

  • Nature is that which is inherited / genetic.
  • Nurture which refers to all environmental influences.

It’s necessary to know child’s Nature to perform the best Nurture Process. We distribute kid’s Nature in 4 different types:

  • Self discovery
  • Imitation
  • Passiveness
  • Reverse thinking.

Innate Motivating Elements

Motivation is all about providing motive or reason to act.

There can be two major motives or reasons to act,

  • Why must do something?
  • HOW to do something?

Communication Pattern

Parenting is all about communicating with your child. Positive two-way communication is essential to build your child’s self-esteem. Children thrive with words of encouragement and praise. It is important to identify child’s communication patterns early on.

There are five major communication patterns found during survey:

  • Cognitive
  • Affective
  • Reflective
  • Critical
  • Integrative

VAK Learning Styles

VAK learning styles are various approaches or ways of learning new things. The VAK learning style is important because it allows child to better understand how he/she can improve performance in a wide range of situations. Understanding the VAK learning style provides more opportunity for adaptation and success by child and parents/teacher, who interact with them.

VAK stands for Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic.

Sternberg’s theory of Intelligence

Robert Sternberg believes that intelligence has less to do with success in the classroom and more to do with success in the real world. He refers to the ability to achieve success in life as “successful intelligence”.

Sternberg’s three types of intelligence, called the Triarchic Theory:

  • Analytical
  • Creative
  • Practical
